La Machine Shop understands that quality starts with manufacturing from raw materials that are from reliable sources. We have an effective supply chain management process in place to ensure that raw materials and components are purchased from qualified distributors who support the requirements of our purchasing specifications.

La Machine Shop is familiar with machining multiple composition call outs including metals like aluminum (6061, 2024, 7075, etc.), stainless steels (303, 304, 316, 416,440, etc.), alloy steels (12L14, 1018, 4140/4142 etc.), specialty steels (Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.), brass and copper alloys, and plastics (Delrin, polycarbonate).

The quality of materials is checked at receiving and certifications are reviewed to confirm they meet the proper material specification and include the physical or mechanical properties as specified on the drawing or material specification.

We have the confidence that our raw material suppliers are also following the DFARS, conflict materials and counterfeit policies as set forth in our AS9100 Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
